WHAT: Support groups are a way of meeting other ALS families
and their friends who can lend support to you and your family. They are also a
way of getting up-to-date information about tax deductions, equipment, community
services, speech devices, treatments, as there is usually a speaker covering a
topic of interest at each meeting.
WHO: people with ALS, their caregivers, families and friends are always welcome
to attend support group meetings. You don’t have to speak or share any personal
information at these meetings and are more than welcome to just come and listen.
