You are the bond of distance between my heart and my soul;

You are precious unspoken words in my silence that need no voice.

You are the gentle calm in the torment of storms in my life;

You are beautiful sounds of laughter that echo pure joy.

You are the unbending milepost at the bends on my road.

You are the path of footsteps from my today to my tomorrow;

You are the promise of light when the sun is clouded.
