Dedication:
I know Mum would join me in dedicating her song to the memory of Jean Nelson - a beautiful and caring woman from Winnipeg. It was Jean's wise counsel and sincere enthusiasm that kept this project going.

Song Of Hope
(Chorus)
I sing for those whose muscles weep
I sing for those who no longer speak
A song of hope, A song of hope
A song of hope for ALS
If you could look inside their minds
And see the past now left behind
Blues eyes, Brown eyes, all express
Thoughts trapped within the deep recess
(Chorus)
The word it came with so much pain
The tears, the fears, what would remain?
Touch the laughter in the soul
To find the strength as yet untold
(Chorus)
Let the laughter, love and life
Steal the heart of stress and life
Share the deeply, gently, dearly, tender
Remember friendship is a mender
(Chorus)
Release your sprit to the air
Fly the clouds beyond despair
Onward upward many care
A cure for ALS dared.
(Chorus)

Chrissie was my Mother. Her melody is above all a song of hope. Hope - that the power of song will touch listeners in a way only music can. Hope- that those with ALS will never feel alone, for they are in the thoughts of many. Hope - that a cure be dared.
